The first quarter is over here in Ames, Iowa and the Cowboys hold onto a 6-0 lead. Dan Bailey has been the only person on the field to score with his two field goals (42,48).
The Cowboys defense has played pretty well so far in stopping the Cyclones from scoring and moving the ball.
The offense has missed some chances to put the ball into the endzone, so you have to credit the Cyclone defense some in holding us at bay as well.
Interesting note, I did see Kendall Hunter take a shovel pass for a nice gain but don't recall seeing him other than that in the first quarter. Although I do see him on the field now here early in the second quarter.
