Can Anyiam be the big time player we need him to be?

Oklahoma State's wide receiver Hubert Anyiam is this week's Big 12 co-offensive player of the week. Anyiam caught 10 passes for 119 yards and a touchdown in what could be called a break through game for the young receiver. Can he continue to improve and play like this every week? We sure need him to since we are without our All-American wide-out Dez Bryant for the season (hopefully he'll be reinstated, but who knows.).

The Cowboy's travel down to Waco to take on the Baylor Bears Saturday, so we should be able to see Anyiam put up some more good numbers. But the real test will be the following weekend, when on Halloween night the third ranked Texas Longhorns come to Stillwater in what will more than likely be the game that decides the South division's champion.

The Cowboy's are probably the only team left that can put a stop to the Longhorns' run to the National Championship. So we need all of our players to step up, especially the defense. If they can play like they did in the second half against Missouri, I like our chances.

BallHype: hype it up! I'm reading: Can Anyiam be the big time player we need him to be?Tweet this!
