Dallas' bye week pobably the best thing for them

The Dallas Cowboys had Sunday off and that was probably the best thing for them. Sunday was not a very good day for the NFC East to put it mildly.

First off you had the New York Giants, who many had as the top team in the NFL going down to New Orleans and getting their butts handed to them. The Giants had the top ranked defense and the top ranked passing defense, but the Saints didn't care and beat the Giants 48-27. Drew Brees exploded for 369 yards and 4 TD's.

Then you have the Philadelphia Eagles in what should of been an easy win against the Oakland Raiders. Yeah, the Eagles lost to the lowly Oakland Raiders 13-9. Is the Raider defense really that good that they are able to keep McNabb and company out of the endzone? I guess so.

And of course there are the Washington Redskins who faced their sixth straight winless team. Yep, they lost to the winless Kansas City Chiefs 14-6. With the schedule that they have had the Redskins should be at least 4-2 but instead they are 2-4. Things are not right in Washington D.C. No matter how bad we have it here in Dallas, at least we can look at the Redskins and know that they have it worse.

So without us playing another crappy game and perhaps even losing we are able to get into a second place tie in the division. Hopefully the Boys will get their act together now and come out of the bye week on the right track.

BallHype: hype it up! I'm reading: Dallas' bye week pobably the best thing for themTweet this!
