Zac Robinson is a semifinalist for the Davey O'Brien Award

Oklahoma State's quarterback Zac Robinson was announced earlier today along with 14 other QB's as semifinalist for the Davey O'Brien Award, which is awarded to the nation's best quarterback.

Zac has had a pretty decent year leading the Cowboys to a 6-1 record completing 115 of 176 passes for 1,547 yards and 12 touchdowns. He's been playing smart ball and has only thrown 3 interceptions, lowest in the conference. He's also set some new Oklahoma State record's this year including setting the pass completion record in Saturday's win against Baylor. He's also set records for total offense and touchdown passes.

Here's what Zac had to say about the nomination.

"It's an honor to be included as a semifinalist for an award as prestigious as the Davey O'Brien. I look at it as more of a team award than an individual award because when you consider all that we have been through this year, it really shows how well the guys around me have played."
